New Bedhead!
Jeez, it's been ages since I posted one of these, but here goes, traditionally followed by random snippets of what I've been up to recently.
A couple of pretty big things have happened 1 being me getting a job :) I start on Monday, British Gas...it's going to be good, call centre work, no dress-code, good pay, so yeah I hope it lasts a long time :)
2nd big thing is Amber, a friend from PFWW who I haven't spoken to in...it must be years, but recently we were reunited via Facebook and had the most awesome chat last night, it's really ace because we're totally on the same wavelength about so many things, so that too has made me recently...hopefully we'll meet up some day soon (if I save enough cash...which I will!) and make some music together...citin!
Thanks to all my mates again, and Judith for being there for me through these last few months, when I've got rent all paid and council tax, I'll have a gathering with all of you here for food, drinks and banter as a thank you :) oh and Judith got a job too which we'll celebrate at the same time, you'll all be contacted in due course!
Also, I advise you to listen to Placebo's version of 'Fuck U' by Archive and 'Hardly Wait' by PJ Harvey (Aurtoharp. XD) amazing versions of 2 great originals...but you know me, I'm a sucker for anything Placebo...but check them out.
Also, on the topic of music, give Florence and The Machine a listen, I know people are all hyped about her, to me that tends to make me stay away, but I got a few tracks off the album and it's pretty sweet, check out 'Bird Song' and 'Howl' - my 2 faves. She reminds me a bit of Imogen Heap but a bit more poppy (which can't be a bad thing)
Righto, I'm off to go and clean myself and my room, and probably dance about to Flo and The Mach.
